Integrity

These past few weeks have been interesting ones. I have always enjoyed listening to radio on the internet. However, with so many events being thrown all at once into the public domain, the net is on overdrive. Many hosts and guests during their interview discussions have become quite openly angry about current affairs. Profanity is the preferred language.

The chats do not stop at airing their anger about world news. Brave individuals who have exposed major cover-ups have become targets within the alternative “truth” media. Others, dedicated to their own personal blogs have been attacked by well-known authors for no other reason than perhaps ego.

Those internet radio hosts slamming individuals are like bullies. They are ruthless and aggressive in their speech. They do not back down even when the truth is presented. They are relentless. Who are these presenters really?

Personal attacks and allegations usually have NO verifiable or substantiated evidence where animosity is present. All reasoning is rejected. Targeted individuals are put into harm’s way before the jury, tried and hung. Their lives and those of their family are put into danger by stalkers and worse. This is very serious.

Because we live in an era of manipulation, false information continues to go unchecked. Many of the comments from listeners reflect a tremendous amount of ignorance and hate. None of those “fans” seem to have critical thinking skills, none.

So, does this mean those commenters are trolls? Some, but not all. Are those comment boxes put there for other purposes? Are they tools to harvest public opinions energies and then re- infect the readers/listeners with prejudice?

With the introduction to the internet, the public has had a wider access to information. Unfortunately, the net has also attracted those choosing to deliberately interfere with the world’s library of resource. Knowledge is empowering and many, many have benefited.

When too many events happen in a short amount of time, the internet implodes. Integrity’s perceptions evolve into distortions. It becomes void in society and in many souls of humans. When there is an impaired condition or no adherence to values, the true state of a being is compromised. Integrity reflects soundness of mind and a heart of honour. Your best insights in observing the world around you always comes from your own heart. As long as you uphold integrity, it will uphold you.
